Roberts Bank Terminal 2

Overview: Robert Banks Terminal 2 (RBT2) is a future three-berth marine container terminal on Canada’s west coast. The Government of Canada and Government of B.C. approved RBT2 in 2023. Permitting and engagement processes are ongoing.

Scope: The Ecowest team played a crucial role in the environmental assessment and permitting processes for the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project. Leveraging their extensive project knowledge and environmental assessment and regulatory expertise, the Ecowest team heavily supported the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority during the federal public hearing process and BC assessment, and continues to provide strategic, technical, and process management leadership, aiding project approval processes.
